There's just one word to describe the first day : Exhausting. Due to not having taken a plane in a long while, the air pressure when landing killed my ears. Especially when we arrived at Hong Kong to transit and landing finally in THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN *hails Japan*. The plane rides were loooong, but it was quite interesting. When I went to Hong Kong, I watched this funny R-18 comedy movie which I've already forgotten the name of [One month. -has short term memory loss 8D-]..

And when we went to Japan, I watched Alice In Wonderland.

But the most surprising discovery in the plane was that they actually had 'Trust Me' by Yuuya Matsushita in their J-Pop lists for the month. And another song from Doraemon which was... Kaerimichi? I forgot totally. But the song that stuck with me the most was the song by Tackey & Tsubasa and Arashi's Troublemaker - due to the song list repeating itself over and over throughout the long flight, I listened to that like about.... 4 times over and thus, it got stuck in my head.

The most epic moment of the day was probably when I touched down in Japan. Though my ears were literally deaf due to the air pressure clogging it up and exhaustion from staring at the same black screen and... probably staring at nothing.. I was still kind of energetic after getting off the plane.

Two plane rides could kill you - seriously. THE DEADLY JET LAG D:.

After going through all the passport checking and such, we had to wait for our luggages. [Mine took an eternity to come out. *was thinking of crawling onto the conveyor belt to look for it*] Then we headed to the basement and got our JR passes checked.. And onto the train to our stop - Kuramae.

We had to take the train from Narita Airport B2 to the end of the Ueno line where

we changed to the Asakusa line... It was a really long journey x.x..

When we reached the place to change to the Asakusa line, the train station was deserted *o*. And the most surprising thing was that the temperature was at 19 degrees celsius. That was usually the temperature of my air conditioning back here in Singapore ...

But the first thing I really wanted to see was..... THE VENDING MACHINES. [*hint - SOYJOY vending machine photo*] So.. We were a bit lost on how to get to our hostel and our last resort was to ask this lady in a hat standing nearby as the last train master already departed along with the train. We first asked which train, and the lady replied about seeing the train's colour and that she was heading for Asakusa as well. So, when the train came, we boarded along with her... And sat all the way to Kuramae. The lady was really helpful as she tried to explain the best that she could in English and even told us to get off there.

When we reached the hostel, its doors were already closed.. but there were people inside [Mostly Eurasians and.... this Ikemen.] and we had to knock for them to open. The counter was already closed but the man expected us and gave us our key, telling us we could make payment tomorrow and we headed up with our bags :]. The room was really cosy.. And we were all bushed.... But we all wanted to check out the convenience store so.. -all went to 7-11-.

NEVER IN MY LIFE. HAVE I WORSHIPPED 7-11. The 7-11 store there has only one word to describe it - AWESOME. It even sold leggings and makeup and skincare products. And they even fresh cook those sausages and put it in those heaters and yakitori... So on so forth. And the variety of desserts they sold there was really, really delicious looking. [Especially the dangos 8D].

We all grabbed cold onigiri and a few drinks [GREEN TEA ROCKS .] and went back to our hostel as it was epicly freezing our asses off.

That was the short and suckish summary for our first day/night in Japan :]... I'd post up the 2nd day soon o^^o ~
